Application area
This standard applies to brass foundries in pigs, made from scrap and waste of non-ferrous metals and alloys and designed for the needs of the country’s economy and exports, and also as a charge material for the manufacture of brass according to GOST 17711.

The ratio (Fe + Mn) / Si should be: for brass grade LCh-from 2 to 5, grade LSD-from 4 to 6.
