Copper-zinc alloys of CuZn37Mn3Al2PbSi (2.0550) and CuZn40Al2 grades refer to aluminum brass, and brass CuZn37Mn3Al2PbSi is additionally doped with manganese, lead and silicon, which significantly increases the strength of the alloy, while reducing its plasticity. Both considered alloys are characterized by high wear resistance and good working capacity, with sufficient machinability and corrosion resistance. Urgency of application
