Sheet, Inconel 601® tape - 2.4851 - alloy 601
Company Avecglobal sells at affordable prices from manufacturers of sheet products (sheet and tape), made of the alloy grade Inconel 601® (2.4851). the supplier is guaranteed timely delivery of products to any address specified by the consumer.
Composition and application
The Inconel 601® alloy (2.4851) belongs to the group of iron-nickel-chromium alloys, with additional aluminum alloying. Therefore, while maintaining high corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures and in corrosive environments, the alloy also retains a high mechanical strength. Inconel 601 is used in structural elements of industrial furnaces, thermocouple pipes, heat treatment equipment, baskets of carrying conveyors, in petrochemical equipment and in aircraft components.
The Inconel 601® alloy (2.4851) does not react to heat treatment, is characterized by good workability at normal and high temperatures. Inconel 601 demonstrates a high resistance to water corrosion, but is not recommended for use in environments that contain an increased percentage of sulfur, as it increases its fragility.
The chemical composition of the alloy, which meets the technical requirements of the standard UNS No. 06601, is presented in the table:
|Copper||Not more than 1.0|
|Manganese||Not more than 1.0|
|Carbon||Not more than 0.10|
|Silicon||Not more than 0.5|
|Sulfur||Not more than 0.015|
Note. The composition of the alloy allows up to 0.006% boron.
