AvekGlO sells various kinds of rolled products (sheet, tape) from the alloy of the brand Incoloy901® at affordable prices from manufacturers (other names are Alloy 901, 2.4975). The Supplier shall organize the prompt dispatch of products to any address specified by the consumer.
Composition and application
Incoloy901® alloy is a chrome-iron-nickel alloy, the distinguishing feature of which is high strength and corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures. Hardening of the alloy occurs due to the successive precipitation of nickel compounds, as well as alloying additives — titanium, molybdenum and aluminum. The alloy has a high yield strength and creep resistance at temperatures up to about 600 ° C. A significant percentage of iron allows the alloy to combine high strength with good ductility characteristics.
The alloy is well suited to hardening and stabilizing heat treatment, it has good corrosion resistance to atmospheres commonly encountered in the operation of jet engines.
Typical applications include gas turbine engines (shafts and discs), as well as high-temperature fasteners.
The chemical composition of the alloy, which meets the technical requirements of the standards UNS N90901 and AISI 681, is presented in the table:
|Chemical element||Content in the alloy|
|Carbon||Not more than 0.10%|
|Silicon||Not more than 0.60%|
|Manganese||Not more than 1.00%|
|Cobalt||Not more than 1.0%|
|Aluminum||Not more than 0.35%|
Buy at economical prices from the manufacturer a sheet or tape made of the alloy Incoloy901® (Alloy 901, 2.4975) offers the company AvekGlob. The supplier ensures timely delivery of the rolled products to any point set by the customer.
Basic physical characteristics of the alloy:
Density, kg / m 3 — 8140;
Melting point, 0 С — 1280… 1345;
Specific heat capacity, J / kggrad — 431;
The coefficient of thermal expansion in the temperature range 20… 100 0 С, μm / degree — 13.4;
Basic mechanical characteristics of the alloy:
The limit of time resistance. MPa — 1270;
Yield strength, MPa — 910;
Relative elongation at tension,% — 15;
Relative narrowing of the cross-sectional area. % — 19.
Technological features of the alloy: the recommended temperature range for forging is 1010… 1120 ° C. Cooling of blanks to a temperature of less than 870 ° C is not allowed. The blanks should be loaded into an already hot oven and quickly heated within the hardening range. The alloy 901 is one of difficult to weld, but it is possible to weld in an inert gas environment. Prior to welding, it is recommended to re-work after stabilization and aging.
