Pseudopus MD-50 - CuMo50
Supplier — AvecGlob Company — offers at reasonable prices from the manufacturer pseudoalloy MD-50 (CuMo50). The supplier guarantees the timely delivery of products to any address specified by the consumer.
Technical specifications
Molybdenum pseudoalloy with copper grade MD-50 (the closest foreign analogue is CuMo50) is produced by powder metallurgy technologies, since with the essential difference of both components in melting temperatures, the creation of an original metal matrix is impossible. In the future, the blanks are subjected to sintering and rolling to obtain the required profiles — sheets, plates, foils, castings, etc.
The pseudoalloy MD-50 (CuMo50) is distinguished by a favorable combination of high temperature resistance and high-temperature strength of molybdenum with copper antifriction characteristics inherent in copper, as well as anti-erosion resistance against arc discharge. The material is characterized by increased resistance to oxidation in chlorine-containing media.
Urgency of application
By the combination of performance characteristics, this material has similar characteristics, as well as an alloy of copper with tungsten. But its density is less, which makes the pseudoalloy MD-50 (CuMo50) optimal for use in aerospace engineering and maritime navigation.
The controlled composite expansion matrix, which is formed during the production of the pseudoalloy under consideration, provides excellent material stability and uniform thermal expansion characteristics while reducing weight, which contributes to good product performance in the case of abrupt temperature fluctuations.
Typical applications are the working elements of thermal vacuum furnaces of vacuum melting, high-speed bearings, facing parts of sea vessels, parts operating under conditions of insufficient lubrication and significant mechanical stresses.
