Low-carbon steel grade 20ХГНМ (the nearest foreign analogues — steel 20NiСrMo2−2, AISI 8620) is a cemented structural steel that contains an increased percentage of manganese, and also is doped with chromium, molybdenum and nickel. In Western Europe it is produced in accordance with DIN EN 1.6523. The presence in the steel of refractory metals increases its mechanical strength at elevated temperatures.
