The class of magnetically soft materials includes especially pure ferromagnetic iron, low-carbon electrotechnical steels (undoped, siliceous), precision low-coercivity alloys with iron-nickel, iron base, ferrimagnetic and ferromagnetic powder, composite. Such alloys melt in metallurgical special furnaces to obtain the required shapes, exposing them to ingots subsequently forging or rolling.
