Technical specifications
Low-carbon, nitrogen-modified austenitic stainless steel. It is more resistant to general corrosion, pitting and crevice corrosion than conventional chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steels such as alloy 304. The balanced composition provides higher tensile strength at elevated temperatures as well as tensile strength. In some cases, nitrogen in the composition gives additional resistance to sensitization.
