Composition and application

Alloy 333 (2.4608) alloy belongs to the group of alloys based on nickel, chromium and iron, with additional doping with tungsten, molybdenum, cobalt and silicon. The alloy is highly resistant against oxidation, carburization, including, and in acidic environments, and also has increased crack resistance in conditions of constant temperature changes. These properties are stored up to temperatures of 1150… 1200 0 С.

The alloy in question is intended to produce forged blanks and semi-finished products. It is usually provided to the consumer in the annealing state (O). From this alloy, pipe supports are produced in oil refineries and coal-fired boilers,

couplings for heat treatment, retorts, fan shafts, couplings for the production of carbon fiber, seals of sulfuric acid plants, scrubbers for cement kilns.
