Wire, circle, Inconel 600® rod - 2.4816 - alloy 600
The company Avecglobal sells at a reasonable price from the manufacturer a wide variety of rolled products — wire, circle, rod — made of nickel-chromium alloy grade Inconel 600® (2.4816). The supplier guarantees the prompt dispatch of the ordered products to any address specified by the customer.
Composition and application
Inconel 600 is a nickel-chromium alloy with excellent resistance to organic fatty acids. The high nickel content of the Inconel 600 alloy provides good resistance to corrosion under reducing conditions, and an increased percentage of chromium is stable under oxidation conditions. The alloy is practically insensitive to the chloride corrosion that occurs during cracking. It is also widely used in the production of caustic soda and alkaline chemicals. The Inconel 600® alloy (2.4816) is an excellent material for high temperature applications requiring a combination of heat and corrosion resistance.
The high resistance of the alloy under conditions of hot halogen-containing media makes it indispensable in organic chlorination processes. Alloy 600 is also resistant to oxidation, carburization and nitriding.
The alloy is used in furnace equipment whose operating temperature does not exceed 980 ° C. The Inconel 600® alloy (2.4816) is used in steam generators and primary water supply systems of nuclear reactors. Other typical applications are chemical processing systems and pipelines, heat treatment equipment, aircraft engines and glider components.
Chemical composition of the alloy:
