Characteristics of the alloy 45HXT (45NHT-P; EP218; EP218-P).
Alloy 45NHT refers to precision alloys with specified elasticity characteristics. It is used in the production of long products, wire, ribbons, hot-rolled sheets, used in the manufacture of sensitive elastic elements of complex shapes, gyroscopes, suspensions, rotors, density densitometers.
This ore-bearing alloy has unique physical and mechanical characteristics (magnetic, elastic, thermal, electrical, etc.). Precision alloy has a number of properties that characterize the accuracy of chemical. Composition, thoroughness of manufacture and processing, absence of various impurities. This category contains, as a rule, high-alloyed alloys. Precision alloys are mainly made on the basis of iron, nickel, copper, niobium, cobalt.
