Characteristics of the alloy 45HXT (45NHT-P; EP218; EP218-P).
Alloy 45NHT refers to precision alloys with specified elasticity characteristics. It is used in the production of long products, wire, ribbons, hot-rolled sheets, used in the manufacture of sensitive elastic elements of complex shapes, gyroscopes, suspensions, rotors, density densitometers.
This ore-bearing alloy has unique physical and mechanical characteristics (magnetic, elastic, thermal, electrical, etc.). Precision alloy has a number of properties that characterize the accuracy of chemical. Composition, thoroughness of manufacture and processing, absence of various impurities. This category contains, as a rule, high-alloyed alloys. Precision alloys are mainly made on the basis of iron, nickel, copper, niobium, cobalt. Shaped and profiled B32 from the 45NHT grade alloy is produced in accordance with the technical specifications 14−1-3074−80.
