Composition and application
Chromel alloy (foreign analogs — Nicrosil®, 2.4870) refers to the number of alloys intended for the manufacture of flat thermocouples, extension cords and compensating conductors / connections. Nickel — 89… 91%;
Chromium — 8,7… 10,0%;
Iron — no more than 0,3%;
Aluminum — no more than 0,15%;
Silicon — no more than 0,4%;
Manganese — no more than 0,3%.
The total amount of impurities should not exceed 1.4%, in nickel it can contain up to 0.6… 1.2% cobalt.
