Haynes 230® - 2.4733, alloy 230 round, wire, tube
Buy at affordable prices from the manufacturer of bulk metal (a circle, wire), made of the alloy Haynes 230® (other names — Alloy 230, 2.4733) offers the company AvekGlob. The supplier ensures the timely delivery of products to any address specified by the consumer.
Composition and application
Haynes 230® (Alloy 230, 2.4733) is a nickel-chromium-tungsten-molybdenum alloy that combines excellent high temperature resistance and long-term thermal stability, especially in nitrogen-containing and carburizing environments. Products made from the alloy in question are not subject to the effect of high-temperature creep and high-temperature cracking. The oxidation resistance is maintained up to temperatures of 1100… 1150 ° C.
Due to this combination of properties, the alloy is very suitable for a wide range of components in the aerospace and energy industries. In particular, Haynes 230® (Alloy 230, 2.4733) is used for production of fuel tanks, transition channels, flame holders, thermocouple shells and other important components of gas turbines.
In view of the good machinability, this alloy is available in a wide range of rolling profiles.
The chemical composition of the alloy, which meets the technical requirements of the standard UNS N06230, is given in the table (numerical data — in percent, nickel — the rest):
C | Mn | Si | P | S | Cr | Co | Fe | Al | Ti | B | Cu | La | W | Mo |
0.05… 0.15 | 0.30… 1.0 | 0.25… 0.75 | Not more than 0.03 | Not more than 0.015 | 20.0… 24.0 | Not more than 5.0 | Not more than 3.0 | 0.20… 0.50 | Until 0.10 | To 0.015 | Not more than 0.50 | 0.005… 0.05 | 13.0… 15.0 | 1.0… 3.0 |
