Assortment and application features
For the production of tantalum screens, rolling profiles, castings and sintered blanks that meet the requirements of TU 11−78, TU 95.205−78 and SU0.021 are used. 016−77. In view of the high plasticity, the initial preforms can be a sheet scrap of tantalum, which is then remelted and reshaped into products of the required dimensions.
Thermal protective screens of tantalum can not be used in installations associated with the use of hydrofluoric acid, strong alkalis, oxalic acid and fuming sulfuric acid, as well as any solution containing fluoride ions. All these substances easily destroy tantalum.
