General information
This specification covers welded pipes of nickel-cobalt alloys with the numbers NS N10001, N10242, N10665, N10675, N10629, N10624, N10675, N06455, N06455, N06755, N06975, N06975, N06985, N06002, N06022, N06030, N06035, N06058, N06059, N06200, N06210, N08031, R30556, N06230, N06686 and R20033.
These alloys are designed for heat exchangers and condenser pipes, as well as pipes used in corrosive environments at high temperatures (heat resistant). Pipes should be made of sheet metal, then subjected to longitudinal bending (profiling) and subsequent automatic welding without the addition of fluxes. Further, the pipes must undergo heat treatment — annealing.
Materials meeting the requirements of ASTM B626 must meet the required mechanical parameters (tensile strength, yield strength and elongation), chemical composition, and also withstand flattening, flange bending, hydrostatic, electromagnetic and pneumatic tests.
