Technical requirements
The rods are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this standard for technological regulations approved in accordance with the established procedure. The bars are made of BrB2 bronze with a chemical composition according to GOST 18175.
The surface of the bars should be clean, should not have captivity, shells, cracks, bubbles, dents, scuffs and scratches. Local surface defects that do not remove the bars during the control sweep for the maximum diameter deviations are allowed.
Traces of technological lubrication, as well as the color of tarnishing, local redness and darkening are allowed.
In the break, the rods must not have foreign inclusions, stratifications and voids.
In small bars with a diameter of 70 mm or more, small pores are allowed. At the request of the consumer, the quality of the break is established according to the samples approved in the established order.
