Application area

The technical conditions of this standard apply to seamless cold-rolled and cold-drawn pipes made of titanium-based alloys.

The length of the pipe produced:
immeasurable:
length from 0.8 to 8.0 m, with a wall thickness of 0.5−0.8 mm,
length from 1,0 to 8,0 m, with wall thickness 1,0 mm and more;
dimensional, not more than the length indicated in Table 1. In each batch of measuring tubes, 10% of non-dimensional pipes are allowed;
multiples of the dimensional, within the dimensional, with an allowance for each cut 5 mm.
Limit deviations along the length of the pipes (multiple and dimensional) must not exceed +15 mm.

The dimensions of the pipes shall be as specified in the table (see below).

At the request of the consumer it is allowed to manufacture pipes according to the inner diameter and wall thickness.
Limit deviations in the internal diameter are determined by agreement of the manufacturer with the consumer.
At the customer’s request, the pipes must be manufactured with combined limiting deviations: diameter — with deviations of usual accuracy, thickness — with increased accuracy. Ovality of pipes with a wall thickness of 1 mm or more should not lead the pipes beyond the limit deviations in the outer diameter.
The difference in the pipes should not lead the pipes beyond the maximum deviations along the wall thickness. Curvature per 1 m of pipe length should not exceed 1.5 mm.
The curvature of pipes with a diameter of less than 80 mm of improved manufacturing accuracy shall not exceed 1 mm.
