Application area

The technical conditions of this standard apply to round welded pipes of titanium of VT1−00, VT1−0 grades and titanium alloy OT4−0 grade.

The outer diameter, the wall thickness and the maximum deviations therefrom, as well as the theoretical mass of 1 m of pipes, must correspond to those indicated in the table (see below). It is allowed to produce pipes with intermediate dimensions along the external diameter and wall thickness. In this case, the limit deviations are taken as for the nearest smaller size.
The length of the pipe produced:
unlimited length from 1,0 to 6,0 m;
dimensional and multiple dimensional length within the dimensionless.
As agreed by the manufacturer with the customer, pipes of a different length may be manufactured.
The maximum deviation along the length of pipes measuring length and length, multiple of the dimensional, should not exceed +15 mm. Pipes of a multiple dimensional length are manufactured taking into account the allowance for each cut +5 mm.

Accomplishment. To calculate the theoretical linear density of pipes made of titanium alloy OT4−0, a conversion factor of 1.011 should be used.
