Astm B408, Inconel 800, Incoloy 800, Heat-resistant rods
Are you interested in the ASTM B408 standard for bars of nickel alloys Inconel 800 and Incoloy 800 from the supplier AvecGlob? Here you will find interesting information on this topic.
General information
This specification covers bulk metal from the alloys of the «nickel-iron-chrome» system. Materials must comply with the established chemical composition limits specified for all components. For specific conditions and dimensions of the cross section, the level of mechanical requirements is established, including the tensile strength, yield strength and elongation. A chemical analysis, tensile test and hardness testing on the selected samples must be carried out.
The ASTM B408 standard applies to Inconel 800 and Incoloy 800 alloys to UNS N08120, UNS N08800, UNS N08810, UNS N08811 and UNS N08890. Volumetric rolled metal of hot and cold rolling must be heat treated. Test methods (chemical analysis, tensile testing, grain size inspection) must be carried out in accordance with the ASTM documents specified in this document.
Supplier — AvekGlob Company — offers at a reasonable price from the manufacturer volume rolling — bar, circle — made of nickel alloys Inconel 800 and Incoloy 800, which are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of ASTM B408. The supplier guarantees the timely delivery of products to any address specified by the consumer.
Application area
This specification covers Inconel 800 and Incoloy 800 alloys on UNS N08120, UNS N08800, UNS N08810, UNS N08811.3 and UNS N08890 all rolled products. The UNS N08800 alloy is used at operating temperatures up to 593 ° C. UNS N08120, UNS N08810, UNS N08811, and UNS N08890 alloys are used at operating temperatures above 593 ° C. In the latter case, higher creep and rupture values are required, so the workpieces are annealed to obtain controlled grain size and for optimal properties in this temperature range.
Security
This standard does not purport to address all of the security concerns (if any) associated with its use.
The user of this standard is responsible for acquaintance with all hazards, including those indicated in the relevant safety data sheet for this product / material provided by the manufacturer, for establishing good occupational safety and health practices and determining the applicability of regulatory restrictions before use.
