Astm-B-446, Inconel 625, Nickel sheet, forged nickel sheet

Astm-B-446, Inconel 625, Nickel sheet, forged nickel sheet

Are you interested in the standard ASTM B446 for sheets of nickel alloy Inconel 625 forged from the supplier company AvecGlob? Here you will find interesting information on this topic.

General information

This specification covers rolled nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloy (UNS N06625), nickel-chromium-molybdenum-silicon alloy (UNS N06219) and nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy (UNS N06650), produced by cold and hot methods deformation, as well as subsequent forging of sheets and plates.

The chemical composition of the Inconel 625 alloy is to be determined in order to determine the actual contents of carbon, manganese, silicon, phosphorus, sulfur, chromium, niobium, tantalum, cobalt, molybdenum, aluminum, titanium, copper, nickel, tungsten and bound nitrogen. The materials must correspond to the properties at room temperature obtained after heat treatment, such as tensile strength, yield strength and elongation. Also the dimensions of the sheets of the listed alloys should be determined: thickness, or width, length and straightness.

Supplier — AvekGlob company — offers at reasonable prices from the manufacturer sheets made of conventional and forged nickel alloy Inconel 625, which is manufactured in accordance with the requirements of ASTM B446. The supplier guarantees the timely delivery of products to any address specified by the consumer.

Application area

The quality of forging sheets from Inconel 625 alloy is ensured only by the requirements for the chemical composition of the material and the control of the surface of the forged plates. The definition of tensile strength values is not required. The forging and billet temperature must comply with generally accepted standards.

The annealing temperature should be 871 ° C, however high annealing at a temperature of 1093 ° C, with or without equalizing annealing at 982 ° C, is allowed to increase the stability of the macrostructure of the alloy.

Products UNS N06625 (conventional or forged sheets) are supplied in two classes of different heat treatment processes:

Class 1 (annealing). The material is usually used at operating temperatures up to 593 ° C;

Class 2 (annealing). The material is usually used at operating temperatures above 593 ° C, when an increased value of creep resistance and rupture is required.

Hot working or re-rolling can significantly change the properties, depending on the rheology of deformation and temperature. Alloys for UNS N06219 and UNS N06650 are supplied only in an annealed condition.

Security

This standard does not purport to address all of the security concerns, if any, associated with its use. The ASTM B446 user is responsible for familiarizing himself with all hazards, including those listed in the relevant safety data sheet for this product / material as specified by the manufacturer, establish proper safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory restrictions prior to their use.
