General Provisions

This standard refers to the general requirements for sheet metal rolling from nylon or its alloys. The materials must be made by one of the electric arc, electro-induction or other suitable methods of smelting. Samples are also subjected to chemical analysis, tensile testing and grain size measurement. If one of the samples does not meet the prescribed requirements, two additional samples from different lots are subjected to a second check.
