Heat-resistant, relaxation-resistant steel in the Din system.
Are you interested in heat-resistant, relaxation-resistant steels in the DIN system from the supplier AvecGlob? Here you will find interesting information on this topic /
Application area
Heat-resistant and relaxation-resistant steels, which are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the European standards DIN EN, belong to the category of heat-resistant steels. Such steels are specially designed for high temperature loads in the range of 600−1200 ° C. Many key components in the construction of industrial furnaces require an exceptional level of heat resistance and, as a result, resistance to constant scaling from exhaust gases.
Unlike conventional stainless steels, these steels have an increased proportion of chromium, silicon and aluminum. They have a much greater affinity for oxygen than for iron, so a continuous oxide layer forms on their surface after rolling.
In addition to the use in the construction of industrial furnaces, various alloys are used in the construction of steam boilers, the manufacture of valves, gas pipelines, pipelines of the oil industry and are used for the production of heat exchangers and fire chambers.
Classes of steels
The DIN EN standard applies to three classes of steel:
Ferritic steels (names of grades start at 1.47);
Austenitic steels (names of grades start at 1.48);
Steel with an increased content of nickel and chromium (names of grades begin at 2.48).
Supplier — AvekGlob Company — offers at a reasonable price from the manufacturer a diverse range of heat resistant and relaxation resistant steels of imported production that meet the technical requirements of European standards DIN EN. The supplier guarantees the timely delivery of products to any address specified by the consumer.
Description of the properties
The high-temperature relaxation resistance of steel is improved due to the provision of a specified steel composition and a certain heat treatment regime. The high-temperature relaxation resistance, which can not be estimated from mechanical properties (for example, strength and hardness) of steel materials at ordinary temperature, under these conditions improves.
In particular:
resistance to softening of temperature is enhanced by an increase in the Si content;
The dislocation density is reduced by providing thin carbides (Mo 2 C) serving as inhibitors of migration of dislocations.
The relaxation stability of the steel is also improved by heat treatment, for example. quenching, tempering, plastic deformation at room temperature, and then at 250 ° C — 350 ° C.
In accordance with these criteria, a decision is made to classify steel as heat-resistant and / or relaxationally stable.
