Application area
These technical specifications apply to unannealed tungsten strips used for the manufacture of parts for various purposes. Tungsten bars must meet the following technical requirements:
- should be made of the packs, produced according to TU 48−13−153−83;
- have dimensions and limit deviations that do not exceed the data specified in the table:

Measured bands are the width and length of which (or one of these parameters) are defined in the order-order. Limit deviations for the width and length of the strips are plus 10.0 mm. Delivery of strips of other sizes is allowed. The strips intended for the manufacture of screens of high furnaces, manufactured thickness of 0.2 +0.06 -0.04 mm, a width of 5.0 140 mm, length 250 mm +10.0.

Surface accuracy and quality
The edges of the bands should be cut off. Burrs formed on the edges as a result of trimming, are not a sign of marriage. On the edges of strips with a thickness of 1.40 mm to 3.00 mm inclusive, face cracks of not more than 1.0 mm in depth formed during cutting are allowed.
The surface of the strips should be etched, and should not have cracks and delaminations. Roughness, scratches, roll prints, depressed shells, traces of abrasive stripping that do not lead to stripes beyond the allowed thickness deviations, as well as shades of etching and tint color, are not a defect.
