Application area

These specifications apply to seamless hot-rolled pipes of 30ХГСА steel grade, which are used for making mechanized shaft fasteners. Pipes — thick-walled from cast ingots, are intended for the manufacture of cases of electric motors, rollers of roller tables and other non-conforming products of similar purpose. The workpiece for the pipes are cast ingots, manufactured according to the documentation of the pipe manufacturer.

Technical requirements

Pipes made of steel seamless hot-rolled thick-walled from cast ingots shall comply with the requirements of these specifications. Pipes are manufactured according to the external diameter and wall thickness of 1 m in size and weight, indicated in the table. Pipes are supplied in lengths from 4 to 11.9 m. Up to 20% of pipes of smaller lengths, but not less than 1.5 m, are allowed.
