Assignment of drill pipes
A drill pipe is an industrial pipe used for drilling in the ground. There are two main industries that use a drill pipe. The most common application of drill pipes is in the oil and gas industry. Another industry using drill pipes is underground construction, or, more specifically, horizontally directed drilling rigs.
Drilling pipes are indispensable in the preparation of oil and gas wells. Each section of the drill pipe is connected one after another, and together they form a drill string. Heavy drill pipes are also part of the drill string. Initially, the whole oil drilling pipe is installed vertically in the ground with the help of a drilling rig. Then, depending on the proposed location and orientation of the oil well, the direction of drilling can be changed to horizontal. In comparison with other industries using drill pipes, the oil well drill pipe is manufactured taking into account the most difficult working conditions. This is mainly due to the extreme depths that are used, and the extreme operating conditions acting at these depths.
Drill pipes are also used for laying tunnels under waterways, main roads and in general any place where trenches are unacceptable.
Supplier — AvekGlob Company — offers at a reasonable price from the manufacturer a diverse range of drill pipes, which are manufactured from cast billets and meet these specifications. The supplier guarantees the timely delivery of products to any address specified by the consumer.
Welding modes and methods
Welding of such pipes has certain difficulties. The problem is that, under normal use, the drill pipe acquires the properties of a permanent magnet. Strong magnetic fields at the ends lead to the fact that the arc of electric welding is sprayed, oscillates and becomes unstable, which makes it difficult to get a good weld.
Therefore, the problem is to remove or completely neutralize strong magnetic fields. To do this, the principle of creating an electromagnet is used-winding with an insulated wire around the iron core, after which the pipe can be welded.
Similarly, polarity can be neutralized, the difference being that a pin turns around the pipe. Winding clockwise will result in a single polarity, and counterclockwise will produce a different polarity.
The intensity of the induced electromagnetic field will be affected by the setting of the current strength and the number of windings of the wire wrapped by the drill pipe. Usually the current is set by the size of the rod, and it is technically easier to perform arc heating, so the simplest way to adjust the strength of the electromagnetic field is the number of wire turns. Once the root pass is completed, the wire can be removed and normal welding resumes.
If it is impossible to use this welding technology, friction welding of drill pipes at stationary installations is used.
Supplier — the company AvekGlob — offers to buy drill pipes in the range, which meet the technical requirements. Products can be bought at a price formed on the basis of European and world standards of production. Implementation is possible in bulk and retail, for regular customers, a flexible system of discounts operates.
