Application area
The technical conditions of this standard apply to rolled bars of titanium and its alloys, which are used for the manufacture of various parts and structures.
The bars are divided into two groups: conventional and improved quality. The bars of usual quality are denoted by the brand of titanium or titanium alloy without additional signs, and the increased quality by the letter «P».
The dimensions of the bars and the maximum deviations from them must correspond to those indicated in the table

Production conditions
- By the length of the rods produce: unlimited length:
from 0,5 to 4 m — at a diameter of rods from 10 to 18 mm inclusive,
from 0,5 to 6 m — at a diameter of rods of st. 18 to 60 mm inclusive,
from 0,5 to 2 m — with the diameter of the rods of st. 60 to 150 mm;
- dimensional and multiple dimensional length within the non-dimensional with limiting deviations:
+ 30 mm — for bars with a diameter from 10 to 18 mm inclusive, + 50 mm — for bars with a diameter of st. 18 to 60 mm inclusive, + 70 mm — for bars with a diameter of st. 60 to 150 mm.
- The bars of a multiple dimensional length should be made with allowance for allowance for each cut 10 mm.
- The bars must be straight. The deviation from straightness for 1 m of length should not exceed 5 mm for bars with a diameter from 10 to 60 mm inclusive, 7 mm for bars with a diameter of approx. 60 to 150 mm. The total deviation from straightness should not exceed the product of the maximum deviation from straightness by 1 m of rod per its length in meters.
