Ost1 90015-77. Welding wire from titanium alloys.
Are you interested in welding wire made of titanium alloys, which is produced by OST1.90015−77 from the supplier company AvecGlob? Here you will find interesting information on this topic.
Application area
Titanium welding wire is usually used as an expendable material for the production of electric arc welding using MIG and TIG technologies. OST 1.90015−77 «Welding wire of titanium alloys» applies to the welding processes of general use listed above, where alloys of the following grades are used: VT1−00, OT4−1, OT4, VT2, VT6, BT20−1, BT20−1 sv., VT20−2 st.
The wire is manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this industry standard for technological documentation approved in accordance with the established procedure.
The main diameters and limiting deviations of the welding wire are indicated in the table:
Diameter of wire, mm | Limit deviations in diameter, mm |
1.0 | -0.10 |
1.2 1.4 1.5 1.6 1.8 2.0 2.5 3.0 |
-0.12 |
3.5 4.0 5.0 6.0 |
-0.16 |
7.0 | -0.20 |
Basic technical requirements
A wire made from alloys of VT2 St., SPT-2 b VT6 sv. is produced with a diameter of not less than 1.6 mm, and made of BT20−1 alloys. and VT20−2 st. — not less than 2.0 mm. Wire of other sizes not provided for in the above table may be manufactured by agreement of the parties.
The ovality of the wire should not take its dimensions beyond the limit deviations in diameter.
By default, the supply of welding wire to 1.90015−77 is performed in an etched and degassed state, with a clean, bright surface that does not have tint and non-etch areas. By agreement of the parties, the material can be supplied in an annealed condition.
The chemical composition of alloys of grades ВТ1−00, ОТ4−1 and ОТ4 should satisfy the requirements of the industry standard OST 90013−71, while the oxygen content in the BT1−00 alloy should not exceed 0.12%, and the hydrogen content in the OT4−1 and OT4 alloys is 0.006%.
Supplier — AvekGlob Company — offers at an affordable price from the manufacturer a welding wire, which is made of titanium alloys, and meets the technical requirements of OST 1.90015−77. The supplier guarantees the timely delivery of products to any address specified by the consumer.

Quality control and indicators
On the surface of the wire from all grades of alloys, traces of water leakage are allowed.
On the surface of a wire made of the alloys of grades BT2, ST6, BT6, CTP2, BT20−1, and VT20−2 st. allowed the color of tarnishing, small untreated areas, risks and sunsets.
It is allowed to correct surface defects and clean them before degassing the wire. After de-gassing, only local soiling can be cleaned.
In the cassette with the wire there should not be stuck and twisted turns.
