Application area
This standard applies to tungsten drawn wire of group A (black) of grades BA, BM, BPH, VT-7, VT-10, VT-15, manufactured by powder metallurgy and intended for the production of light sources.
Tungsten wire for light sources (hereinafter referred to as wire) shall be manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this standard for process regulations approved in accordance with the established procedure.
The wire assortment is determined by the requirements of GOST 18903;
The chemical composition of the wire must comply with the standards given in the table

The wire should be free from burrs, delaminations, cracks, kinks and local thickenings. On wire with a diameter of more than 500 μm, risks and burrs are allowed that do not lead the wire beyond the maximum diameter deviations. The color of the wire should be from black to gray. On the surface of a wire with a diameter of more than 500 μm, the colors of ripeness from violet to dark blue are allowed.
Supplier — AvekGlob Company — offers at a reasonable price from the manufacturer a wide range of wire of various diameters, which is obtained from tungsten, is intended for making filaments, and meets the requirements of GOST 19671−91. The supplier guarantees the timely delivery of products to any address specified by the consumer.

A VA wire intended for spiraling onto a core of a diameter equal to or less than two wire diameters (core factor of 2 or less) should not break off and stratify when spiraling.
The wire of grades VA, BM, VT-7, VT-10, VT-15, intended for spiraling onto core with a diameter of more than two wire diameters (core factor more than 2), should not break off and separate with spiral.
A VA wire should not have a coarse-grained structure after annealing at the temperature given in the table
