Application

The technology of production of rolled rolled sheet of tin

Coating. Sheet rolling passes through containers containing tin anodes on both sides of the strip and in the electrolyte. The tin dissolves from the anode and is transported through the electrolyte to deposit on the strip.

The amount of tin that is deposited on the surface of sheet metal is determined by the strength of the current flowing between the anode and the metal. To create differential coatings for each of the electrodes, different current settings are used.

Coating

Protective grease

The finished tin plate is covered with oil, for which the technology of electrostatic application is used. Oil is applied to minimize scratches on the surface of tin during transportation. The oil applied to the electrolytically formed tin is acetyltributyl citrate. The oil is applied evenly to both sides of sheet rolled tin. The final operation is winding the rolled stock onto a roll.

Tin strips are produced in a similar way, but before the coating, the operation of cutting the starting material into workpieces of a certain length is introduced.
