General Provisions

GOST 9722−97 «Nickel powder. Specifications apply to nickel powder made by carbonyl or electrolytic method, intended for the manufacture of articles by methods of powder metallurgy and other purposes. The standard does not apply to nickel powder obtained by reduction of nickel compounds.

Brands and technical requirements

According to the chemical composition, the carbonyl nickel powder is divided into groups: Y, 0, 1, 2; electrolytic nickel powder — in groups 1 and 2.
According to the bulk density, the carbonyl nickel powder is divided into groups: T is heavy, A is light, and K is coarse-grained. Each group is divided into subgroups: T — 1, 2, 3, 4; L — 5, 6, 7, 8; K — 9, 10.
The carbonyl nickel powder of groups V, 0, 1 and 2 can be produced with different characteristics according to the bulk density in accordance with the table
