Application area
This standard applies to hot-rolled and cold-rolled sheets of M-MP alloy. The letters in the name of the alloy mean: M — molybdenum, MP — powder material.
Classification and assortment
Hot-rolled sheets are produced with a thickness of 1.0−30.0 mm, cold-rolled sheets with a thickness of 0.1−0.9 mm.
The dimensions and limit deviations for hot-rolled and cold-rolled sheets, respectively, must correspond to the values indicated in the tables:

Quality
The non-flatness of sheets 1.0−3.0 mm thick should not exceed 2.0 mm per 100 mm, sheets with a thickness of St. 3.0 mm — 1.0 mm per 100 mm in length.
For sheets with a thickness of 0.4 mm or less, slight rippling is allowed, disappearing when the sheets are folded into a cylinder 100 mm in diameter.
Hot-rolled sheets are manufactured in an annealed condition or without annealing with a surface cleared of acid. On the surface of sheets there should be no cracks, captivity, sunsets, foreign inclusions.
Defects in the form of dents, impacts from rollers, scratches, scratches, edge tears and traces of stripping and etching that do not lead the sheets out of the minimum dimensions are allowed.
At the edges, the bundle is not allowed. It is allowed to darken the surface from oxidation during transportation and storage.
In hot-rolled sheets with a thickness of 1.0−6.0 mm, the structure of complete recrystallization is not allowed.
Chemical composition
The initial metal powder for sheet production should have the following chemical composition,%, not more: iron — 0.014; aluminum — 0.005; nickel — 0.005; silicon — 0.005; magnesium — 0.003; sodium — 0.015; potassium — 0.05; calcium — 0.007; tungsten — 0.4; oxygen and moisture — 0.3; molybdenum — the rest.
The particle size of the powder should not be more than 0.005 mm for 92% of the powder by weight.
