GOST R 56031-2014. The wire is pressed from magnesium alloys. Technical specifications

Are you interested in GOST R 56031−2014 «Magnesium Alloy Welded Wire Technical Specifications» from the supplier company AvekGlob? Here you will find interesting information on this topic.

Application area

This standard applies to extruded magnesium alloy wires used for welding and other industries.

Assortment

The diameter of the wire, the maximum deviation along it and the theoretical mass of 1 m of wire should correspond to the values given in the table:

Nominal diameter, mm Limiting deviation by diameter, mm Length, mm
1.2 ± 0.2 In coils wound with a common bundle, not more than 10,000
2.0 ± 0.3 Also
2.5 ± 0.3 Also
3.0 ± 0.3 Also
4.0 ± 0.5 Also
5.0 ± 0.5 In bundles, not less than 1000
6.0 ± 0.5 Also
8.0 ± 0.5 Also

Supplier — AvekGlob Company — offers a wire pressed from magnesium in accordance with GOST R 56031−2014 in a wide range of cross sections and at affordable prices from the manufacturer. The supplier guarantees the timely delivery of products to any address specified by the consumer.

Technical requirements

The wire is made of magnesium alloys of the following grades: MA2, MA2−1, MA2−1pc, MA5, MA8, MA15, MA18, MA21, IM10, ML5, ML10, BMD10, MA20−1 (CB1), MA3−1 (CB- 2). The chemical composition of alloys is given in the table. The wire is supplied in hot-pressed condition without oxidation.

Surface quality

On the surface of the wire there should be no cracks, captivity, dents, stratifications, sharp changes. Local defects are allowed — scratches and bumps, if the depth of their occurrence does not lead to wire for negative limit deviations in diameter.
A local flat wire stripping is allowed, if it does not lead out the wire diameter for negative limit deviations. Stripping of cracks is not allowed.
The curvature of the wire, its mechanical properties and macrostructure are not regulated.
Supplier — AvekGlob Company — offers to purchase a large range of cross-sections of pressed magnesium alloys in accordance with GOST R 56031−2014, intended for general use. Products can be bought at a price formed on the basis of European and world standards of production. Implementation is possible in bulk and retail, for regular customers, a flexible system of discounts operates.
